Takeaway Containers for Hamilton Operators

Containers that handle the Friday night rush without splitting, leaking, or letting you down at the handover window.

We supply takeaway containers to Hamilton hospitality businesses — from Waikato University-area cafes to suburban burger and sushi spots. Four Hamilton operators are already ordering through us. Stock is held in our warehouse, so orders placed before 4pm on a business day go out the same day.

The range covers PP plastic, bagasse, and kraft in common sizes from 500ml up to 1250ml. Leak-resistant seals, microwave-safe construction, freezer-safe for meal prep. Sold by the carton, priced for operators not retailers.

Materials at a Glance

PP (polypropylene) — tough, reusable-grade plastic. Handles hot and cold. Stackable on the shelf and in the delivery bag.

Bagasse — pressed sugarcane fibre. Compostable where facilities exist. Holds heat well and doesn't go soggy as fast as you'd expect.

Kraft — brown board, biodegradable, works for drier foods and sides. The F2507 is a solid medium-sized option if you're doing smaller portions.

Why Hamilton Operators Use Frankly

Hamilton's food scene has grown fast. University trade means high volume, tight margins, and no patience for containers that fail mid-service. Suburban operators are running delivery alongside walk-in, which means containers need to hold up in a bag for 20 minutes without pooling condensation or popping their lids.

We dispatch on stocked lines for orders in before 4pm on business days. Carton quantities keep the per-unit cost down. No minimum spend to browse the catalogue.

Sizes We Cover

The current stocked range runs from 500ml up to 1250ml. That covers:

  • Single-serve rice and noodle portions
  • Full meal mains with a bit of sauce room
  • Salad and cold build dishes that need a clear-lid option
  • Sides and snack portions in the compact kraft box

If you're running multiple portion sizes across your menu, you can mix carton sizes in one order.

Ordering and Dispatch

Order online or call us direct. Cut-off for same-day dispatch on stocked lines is 4pm, NZ business days. We'll confirm stock availability at checkout. If something's out of stock or you need a non-catalogue item, we'll tell you straight rather than let you find out at the worst moment.

Carton quantities vary by product — the BioCane tray runs 500 per carton, the Biopak containers and lids are 300, the kraft box is 200. Check the product listings for the current price per carton.

Frequently asked

What sizes of takeaway containers do you stock for Hamilton orders?+

We stock 500ml currently across bagasse and Biopak rectangular options, plus a compact kraft medium box at 127x107x64mm. The broader range goes up to 1250ml — contact us if you need a specific size confirmed.

Are these containers microwave-safe?+

The PP containers in the range are microwave-safe. Bagasse handles heat well but check with your supplier before putting it in a commercial microwave on full power. Kraft board is not microwave-safe.

Can I get custom printed containers for my Hamilton shop?+

Custom print isn't available on every line. Get in touch directly and we'll tell you what's possible for your volume and timeline — no point guessing.

How quickly will my order arrive in Hamilton?+

Orders on stocked lines placed before 4pm on a NZ business day are dispatched same day. Delivery times to Hamilton after dispatch depend on the courier — we can't guarantee a specific arrival window, but Waikato is well-served.

Are the bagasse containers compostable?+

Yes, bagasse is compostable. Whether your local Hamilton facility accepts it depends on the composting infrastructure available to you. We don't make claims about specific facilities — worth checking with Waikato District or Hamilton City Council waste services.

Do I need to meet a minimum order to buy containers?+

We sell by the carton. There's no minimum order value to browse or buy — but bulk carton quantities are where you get the per-unit price down. Check the individual product listings for carton sizes and current pricing.
