Takeaway Containers for Tauranga Operators

Containers that handle a busy summer waterfront rush without leaking on the way out the door.

Tauranga's hospo scene moves fast, especially when the tourists hit in summer. You need containers that keep hot food hot, cold food cold, and don't buckle under a stack of Friday night orders.

We stock PP, bagasse, and kraft takeaway containers from 500ml to 1250ml. Leak-resistant seals, microwave-safe, freezer-safe. Order before 4pm on a business day and we dispatch that day on stocked lines.

Materials Worth Knowing About

PP (polypropylene) is your workhorse. Microwave-safe, freezer-safe, takes a knock without cracking. Good for hot curries and cold poke bowls alike.

Bagasse is pressed sugarcane fibre. Compostable, handles heat well, and gives your packaging a story if your customers care about that kind of thing.

Kraft is recyclable paperboard. The brown box look that reads as no-nonsense on a delivery run.

Sizes We Stock

Common sizes across the range: 500ml, 750ml, 1000ml, and 1250ml. The right size depends on your portions. A 500ml suits a rice bowl or a side. A 1250ml handles a full meal with room for the sauce cup.

Check individual product pages for exact dimensions before you order. A container that's 5mm too narrow for your portion scoop is a problem at 7pm on a Saturday.

Ordering for Tauranga

We currently serve one Tauranga operator through Frankly. That number is growing. If you're in Mount Maunganui, Papamoa, or the CBD, the process is the same: order online, cut-off is 4pm on business days for dispatch on stocked lines.

Bulk carton pricing applies. No minimum order fuss, but bigger cartons mean better unit cost — worth doing the maths if you're running high volume over summer.
