- F4229 BioCane Takeaway Tray 500ml — 180x124x42mm, bagasse, 500 per carton. Good for sides, salads, and anything saucy.
- F1855 Biopak Rectangular Container 500ml — 300 per carton. Pairs with the RPET lid below.
- F1856 RPET Lid to Suit Biopak Rectangular Container 500ml — 300 per carton. Snap-fit, clear, keeps it tidy in the bag.
- F2507 Brown Takeaway Box Medium — 127x107x64mm, kraft, 200 per carton. Square-ish format, good for rice or noodle portions.
Materials — Pick What Suits Your Menu
PP (polypropylene) is microwave-safe and freezer-safe. It handles temperature swings without warping. Solid choice for anything that goes straight from chiller to reheat.
Bagasse is pressed sugarcane fibre. It's compostable, handles hot food well, and sits better with customers who care about what ends up in the bin.
Kraft is recycled paperboard. Looks the part, takes a sticker or stamp well, and works for drier foods and boxed portions.
Sizes That Actually Match Your Portions
We stock containers from 500ml up to 1250ml. A rough guide:
- 500ml — sides, salads, small mains
- 750ml — standard rice or noodle dish
- 1000ml — big mains, combo portions
- 1250ml — family-size or generous serves
If you're not sure which size fits your portions, order a sample carton first. Better to test before you commit to a full pallet.

Are these containers microwave-safe?+
The PP containers are microwave-safe. Bagasse handles heat well but isn't designed for microwave reheating. Check the product page for each SKU.
Do the lids fit all containers?+
Lids are matched per container. The F1856 RPET lid is specifically designed for the F1855 Biopak Rectangular Container. Don't assume cross-compatibility — check the product listings.
Can I get custom printing on these containers?+
Custom print is available on selected lines with minimum order quantities. Contact us directly to discuss runs, lead times, and setup costs.
What's the minimum order?+
Containers are sold by the carton. Quantities range from 200 to 500 per carton depending on the product. No pallet minimums required for standard orders.
Are any of these containers compostable?+
The BioCane bagasse containers are compostable. The RPET lids are made from recycled plastic — recyclable but not compostable. Check your local Christchurch council guidelines for disposal.
How quickly will my order arrive in Christchurch?+
