Sushi Packaging for Auckland Operators
54 Auckland sushi stores already order through us — here's what they're buying.
Auckland runs on sushi. CBD lunch counters, Ponsonby grab-and-go, Newmarket bento bars — the city moves fast and your packaging needs to keep up. We stock BioBoard and BioCane sushi trays in five sizes, ready to go from our warehouse on stocked lines when you order before 4pm.
No minimums that make no sense. No waiting weeks for basics. Just trays that hold nigiri flat, stack cleanly on your shelf, and don't fall apart in a customer's bag.

BioBoard vs BioCane — Which One?
BioBoard is a kraft and black paperboard tray. It looks sharp in a display fridge, holds sushi rolls without flexing, and the two-tone finish does most of the presentation work for you.
BioCane is pressed sugarcane fibre. Stronger than it looks, handles moisture well, and it's compostable. Good fit if your customers care about what ends up in the bin — or if your council's commercial composting programme covers your site.
Both sit at 24mm depth in the BioCane range, which keeps your rolls from rolling around.
Ordering in Auckland
We already supply 54 Auckland hospitality operators, sushi stores among them. Order before 4pm on a NZ business day and stocked lines go out same day. That matters when you've run short on a Tuesday and the weekend rush is coming.
Carton quantities are 300 for BioBoard trays and 600 for the BioCane Medium. Order a single carton or stack up multiples — no fuss either way.
What Else You Might Need
Sushi trays are the core, but most stores need more than that. Deli containers for sauces, wasabi, and sides. Takeaway containers for bento-style combos. We stock those too.
Check the related packaging pages below, or browse the full catalogue. If you're building an order from scratch, the sushi containers page is the right place to start.
Frequently asked
What sizes do the BioBoard sushi trays come in?+
Five sizes: Extra Small, Small, Medium, Large, and Long. All come in kraft and black finish, 300 per carton. If you need exact dimensions, check the individual product pages or get in touch.
Are the BioCane trays actually compostable?+
Yes. BioCane is pressed sugarcane fibre and is compostable. Whether your local Auckland facility accepts them commercially is worth checking with your waste provider, but the material itself is certified compostable.
Can I get custom printing on sushi trays?+
Custom print isn't listed in our standard catalogue for these lines. Contact us directly to discuss what's possible — minimum quantities and lead times will apply.
How quickly will my order arrive in Auckland?+
Order before 4pm on a NZ business day and stocked lines dispatch same day. Delivery times from dispatch depend on your courier, but Auckland metro is typically next business day.
What's the minimum order quantity?+
Carton quantities apply — 300 per carton for BioBoard trays, 600 for the BioCane Medium. You're not locked into buying multiple cartons unless you want to.
Do you stock lids for sushi trays?+
The current catalogue lists the trays themselves. Check the sushi containers page for the full range, or contact us to ask about compatible lids for specific tray sizes.
