Sizes and Materials
Four sizes cover most menus: 500ml for sides and small salads, 750ml for a standard single serve, 1000ml for big grain bowls, and 1300ml when someone orders the large poke and means it.
- Bagasse — pressed sugarcane fibre, home-compostable, handles hot and cold
- Kraft — sturdy paperboard, pairs with a clear PET or kraft lid
- PP (polypropylene) — rigid, microwave-safe, reusable if your customers are that way inclined
Lids That Actually Fit
A salad bowl without a secure lid is just a bowl. We stock clear PET lids so the food is visible at the counter, and kraft lids when you want a cleaner look. Both sizes are matched to the bowl dimensions — no hunting around for something that sort of fits.
Compostable Options for Wellington's Market
Wellington customers notice packaging. The bagasse bowls are home-compostable and carry the certifications to back that up. If your cafe is already running compostable cups and cutlery, the bowls fit that programme without any awkward exceptions.
Ordering and Delivery to Wellington
We currently supply two Wellington operators directly. The range ships from our warehouse on stocked lines — place your order before 4pm on a NZ business day and it goes out the same day. Minimum orders and freight rates are shown at checkout.

Are the bagasse bowls actually home-compostable?+
Yes. The bagasse range is home-compostable. Check the product listing for the specific certification details.
Can I use these in a microwave?+
The PP bowls are microwave-safe. Bagasse handles moderate heat well but check the spec sheet if you're running high-temperature use cases. Kraft is not recommended for microwave use.
Do the lids fit tightly enough for delivery?+
Yes. Lids are sized to the bowl and sit securely. Clear PET lids snap on; kraft lids tab closed. Neither is going to pop open in a courier bag.
How quickly can I get an order to Wellington?+
We dispatch same day on stocked lines if you order before 4pm on a NZ business day. Delivery timeframes from there depend on your courier, but most Wellington orders arrive within one to two business days.
Can I get custom printed bowls?+
Custom print is available on larger runs. Contact us with your volume and timeline and we'll give you a straight answer on whether it's feasible.
