BioBoard vs BioCane — which one?
BioBoard trays are kraft and black card. They look sharp in a cabinet and hold their shape. Good if presentation matters and you want a consistent retail look.
BioCane is bagasse — pressed sugarcane fibre. It's compostable, handles heat better, and suits operators who have a sustainability story to tell or a waste-minimisation target to hit. Dimensions are fixed: 188 x 134 x 24mm for medium, 214 x 134 x 24mm for large, 221 x 91 x 24mm for long.
Both ranges are sold by the carton. Stock one format or mix them — your call.
Ordering and dispatch to Wellington
Orders on stocked lines placed before 4pm on a NZ business day are dispatched the same day. Wellington is a straightforward freight run from our warehouse — courier delivery typically next business day, though we don't guarantee transit times once it's with the carrier.
Buying by the carton keeps your per-unit cost down. If you're burning through trays daily, it's worth looking at the 600/ctn BioCane medium versus restocking smaller quantities more often.

A sushi tray that leaks wastes product. One with a lid that won't stay closed loses you customers. The clear-lid options in this range sit flush and hold. You can see the product from the front of the cabinet without touching anything — which is exactly what a busy Wellington lunch spot needs.

BioCane is made from bagasse, which is sugarcane fibre. It is compostable. Check with your local Wellington waste contractor for their specific processing requirements before making claims to customers.
Can I microwave food in these trays?+
The bases are microwave-safe. The BioBoard range is kraft and black card — don't put that in a microwave. Always check product specs on the individual listing before advising customers.

How many are in a carton and what does that work out to per tray?+
BioBoard trays are 300 per carton. BioCane medium is 600 per carton. Check the product pages for current pricing — we don't publish per-unit costs here because they shift with freight and volume.
