Dessert Packaging for NZ Bakeries and Cake Shops
Your cake took two hours to make — the box should hold it together until it gets eaten.
We stock cake boxes, clam packs, and containers built for the stuff you actually sell: layered cakes, tarts, slices, chilled mousses, scooped ice cream. Sold by the carton, priced for busy kitchens.
Orders placed before 4pm on NZ business days go out the same day on stocked lines. No waiting a week for a box.
Cake Boxes and Bases
The cake base and lid range runs from low to high — 43mm, 81mm, and 99mm tall — all at 130 x 225mm footprint, cartons of 250. If you need a windowed clam, the RF2200 clam high version has a lid you can see through without opening the box.
Need just a base? The RF2102.2 cake base only (130 x 225mm) ships 250 per carton. Useful if you're building your own display setup or using a dome lid you already stock.

Cake Cartons for Whole Cakes
The W0403 and W0404.1 are square cake cartons — both 203 x 203mm across, one at 100mm tall and one at 150mm tall. Sold in cartons of 50. Good for single-tier cakes, cupcake boxes, or anything that needs a rigid square pack with a handle.
The 150mm height is the one you want if your cakes have piping, candles, or fondant work that can't get squashed.
Cake Boards
The RF2130 is a round white cake board, 11 inches, 300 per carton. It gives you a solid base for display cakes, celebration cakes, and anything you're handing over to a customer who needs to carry it home. Works with or without a box.
Ice Cream and Deli Containers
Scooped ice cream, chilled panna cotta, mousse cups, portioned cheesecake — these all want a different container from a cake box. We carry ice cream containers and deli containers in a separate range. Check those pages for sizes and materials.
Ordering and Dispatch
All stocked lines go out same day if you order before 4pm on NZ business days. Carton quantities are listed on every product — no guessing how many you're getting. If you're running low mid-week, place the order in the morning and it moves that afternoon.
Got a question about which box suits your product? Call or email us. We're not going to put you through a chatbot.
Frequently asked
What's the difference between the clam high (RF2200) and the standard high (RF2100)?+
Same footprint and height — 130 x 225 x 99mm — but the RF2200 has a clamshell hinge and a clear lid panel so customers can see the cake without opening the box. The RF2100 is a separate base and lid with no window.
Which cake carton should I use for a tall celebration cake?+
The W0404.1 at 203 x 203 x 150mm gives you the extra height. The W0403 is only 100mm tall — fine for a single layer or a flat slice box, but it'll crush anything with piping or fondant work.
Do you sell cake boards separately from the boxes?+
Yes. The RF2130 is an 11-inch round white cake board, sold 300 per carton. It's a standalone product — you don't need to buy it with a specific box.
Can I get custom printed cake boxes?+
Custom print isn't listed in our standard catalogue range. Get in touch and we can talk through what's possible for your volume.
What if I need containers for chilled desserts rather than cakes?+
The cake box range isn't designed for liquid or semi-liquid products. Check our deli containers and ice cream containers pages — those are better suited for mousse, panna cotta, scooped product, and similar.
How quickly will my order arrive?+
Stocked lines ordered before 4pm on NZ business days are dispatched the same day. Delivery timeframes after that depend on your location and courier. We don't control the courier, but we get it out the door fast.
