Cake Bases, Lids, and Clam Packs

All our cake base and lid sets run 130 x 225mm — long enough for a standard loaf or celebration cake. Pick your height depending on what you're boxing up.

  • RF2104 Low (43mm) — slices, tarts, flat pastries. 250 per carton.
  • RF2102 Med (81mm) — layered slices, mousse bars, most everyday cakes. 250 per carton.
  • RF2100 High (99mm) — tall cakes, cream-heavy builds. 250 per carton.
  • RF2200 Clam High (99mm) — same footprint, hinged clam design. No lid to lose. 250 per carton.
  • RF2102.2 Base Only (130 x 225mm) — when you're wrapping or using your own lid. 250 per carton.

Cake Cartons for Whole Cakes and Slices

Square cartons for the full cake or the boxed gift slice. Two sizes, both 203 x 203mm footprint.

  • W0403 (203 x 203 x 100mm) — standard depth for single-tier round or square cakes. 50 per carton.
  • W0404.1 (203 x 203 x 150mm) — extra height for taller builds or stacked layers. 50 per carton.

50 per carton keeps the minimum manageable if you're a smaller operation or running a changing menu.

Cake Boards

RF2130 is a white round cake board, 11 inch, sold 300 to a carton. That's a solid run for a busy patisserie or anyone doing wedding and event work. White finish, food-safe, holds a standard round cake without flexing.

Ordering from Tauranga

We dispatch from our warehouse on NZ business days. Order before 4pm and stocked lines go out the same day. Tauranga is well-connected freight-wise — transit times are generally reliable, though we don't control what happens once it's with the courier.

What's the difference between the clam pack (RF2200) and the base-and-lid sets?+

The clam is one hinged piece — base and lid connected. You flip it open, place the product, close it. The base-and-lid sets are two separate pieces. Both are 130 x 225mm and 99mm high. The clam is faster to close at volume; the separate lid gives you more flexibility if you're wrapping or labelling the top.

Do the 130 x 225mm bases fit standard loaf cakes?+

Yes, that footprint suits most standard loaf tins. If your loaf is significantly wider or longer, measure it before ordering — we'd rather you order the right thing first time.

Can I order just bases without lids?+

Yes. RF2102.2 is a base-only option at 130 x 225mm, sold 250 per carton. Useful if you're wrapping cakes yourself or using a different lid system.

Is there a minimum order?+

We sell by the carton. Cake cartons (W0403, W0404.1) come in 50s. Cake bases and clam packs come in 250s. Cake boards are 300 per carton. No minimum number of cartons — order what you need.

Do you do custom printing on cake boxes?+

Custom print isn't listed in our current stocked range for these products. Get in touch and we can talk through what's possible — but don't expect it to be a quick turnaround.

I need containers for ice cream or chilled desserts. Do you stock those?+
