Garbage & Trash Bags for Hospitality Operators

The bag that splits mid-service isn't a minor inconvenience — it's a 10pm nightmare you don't need.

We stock heavy-duty garbage and trash bags built for commercial kitchens, not household bins. Greasy takeaway waste, bulk food scraps, broken glass — these bags handle it.

Order in cartons, keep a consistent supply on hand, and stop running to the supermarket when you run out mid-shift.

What We Stock

Our garbage and trash bags come in a range of sizes suited to commercial bins, from small under-counter bins to large wheelie bins out the back.

  • Small bin liners — suited to front-of-house bins and bathroom waste
  • Medium kitchen bags — the workhorse for prep areas and pass-throughs
  • Large heavy-duty bags — for bulk waste, back-of-house and wheelie bins

All stocked lines are available for same-day dispatch when you order before 4pm on a NZ business day.

Heavy-Duty vs Standard: Which One Do You Actually Need?

Standard bags are fine for paper waste and light rubbish. In a commercial kitchen, they're a liability.

Heavy-duty bags use thicker gauge plastic and reinforced seams. They hold up to wet food waste, sharp packaging offcuts, and the kind of full-to-the-brim loads that happen every Saturday night.

Standard bags cost less per unit. If you're lining a small front-of-house bin that only collects napkins and cups, they do the job.

Don't buy heavy-duty across the board if you don't need it — but don't cheap out on your kitchen bins either. A split bag costs more in clean-up time than the price difference.

Buying in Bulk Makes Sense Here

Trash bags are a consumable. You will always need more. Buying in cartons rather than small packs drops your cost per bag and means fewer reorders.

We sell by the carton. The more you buy, the better the unit price. If you're running multiple sites, get in touch and we'll sort a volume deal.

Who These Bags Are For

Pretty much any hospo operator producing physical waste — which is all of them.

  • Pizzerias and burger joints with heavy food scraps
  • Fish and chip shops dealing with oil-soaked packaging and offcuts
  • Cafes with daily food waste and compostable cup overflows
  • Bubble tea bars and dessert kitchens with packaging and product waste
  • Food trucks where space is tight and you need bags that don't fail

If you've got a bin, you need a bag that fits it and holds up. That's the whole brief.

Frequently asked

What sizes of garbage bags do you stock?+

We stock a range from small bin liners for front-of-house use through to large heavy-duty bags for commercial wheelie bins. Check the product listings for current sizes in stock.

Can I get same-day dispatch on trash bags?+

Yes, on stocked lines. Order before 4pm on a NZ business day and we dispatch that day.

Do you sell garbage bags by the carton?+

Yes. We sell in cartons, not small retail packs. Carton buying gives you a better unit price and fewer reorders.

Is there a volume discount for multiple sites?+

Get in touch directly. If you're buying across multiple locations we can work out a volume deal.

Do you stock compostable or biodegradable bin liners?+

Contact us to ask about current sustainable liner options. Stock and availability vary, so it's worth checking before you order.

What's the difference between your heavy-duty and standard bags?+

Heavy-duty bags use thicker gauge plastic with reinforced seams — built for wet food waste and full commercial loads. Standard bags are lighter and cheaper, fine for low-demand bins like bathroom or front-of-house waste. Pick based on what actually goes in the bin.
