Food Packaging, Right Here in NZ
If you're searching for food packaging near you, we stock it, we ship it, and we cut off at 4pm on business days.
Frankly Packaging supplies wholesale food packaging to hospitality operators all over Aotearoa. Pizzerias, burger joints, sushi stores, fish and chip shops, bubble tea bars — we've got what you actually need, not a catalogue full of things you'll never order.
Browse by category below. Stocked lines go out same day when you order before 4pm. No runaround, no waiting on a sales rep to call you back.
What Food Packaging Do We Stock?
We stock a wide range of food packaging across every major hospitality category — boxes, bags, cups, containers, trays, and wraps.
- Pizza boxes — corrugated kraft and white, 9" to 18"
- Burger boxes & clamshells — board and bagasse options
- Hot chip boxes & trays — classic scallop trays, tall fry boxes
- Paper bags — flat and SOS bags in brown kraft and white
- Cups — hot cups 4oz to 20oz, cold cups 8oz to 32oz, bubble tea cups
- Takeaway containers — rectangular and round, clear PET lids available
- Sushi trays — black and natural, with film or lid options
- Dessert packaging — ice cream tubs, waffle cone sleeves, cake boxes
If it holds food and leaves a kitchen, there's a good chance we stock it.
Who Is This Packaging For?
This packaging is for NZ hospitality operators who need reliable stock, not minimum orders that take three weeks to arrive.
Our customers run everything from single-site fish and chip shops to multi-location burger groups. Food trucks ordering once a fortnight. Sushi stores that go through 2,000 trays a week. Bubble tea bars that need a very specific cup diameter. We supply them all.
If you're a home baker or a one-off event, we're probably not the right fit. We're wholesale, which means volume pricing and no retail markup — but it also means we're set up for operators, not one-time buyers.
Kraft vs White vs Bagasse: Picking the Right Material
The material your packaging is made from affects cost, presentation, and sustainability credentials — here's how the main options stack up.
| Material | Best For | Compostable? | Price Point |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kraft board / paper | Burgers, chips, bakery, wraps | Generally yes (check lining) | Budget-friendly |
| White board / paper | Brand-forward presentation, desserts | Generally yes (check lining) | Slightly above kraft |
| Bagasse (sugarcane fibre) | Hot food, wet dishes, eco-focussed operators | Yes — certified compostable | Mid-range |
| Clear PET plastic | Cold desserts, sushi, display lids | No — recyclable where accepted | Low to mid |
| Black CPET / PP | Meal kits, hot food, ready meals | No — check local recycling | Mid-range |

Same-Day Dispatch: How It Works
Orders placed before 4pm on NZ business days on stocked lines go out the same day.
That cut-off is firm. 4:01pm means tomorrow. We're not trying to be difficult — it's just how the couriers work and we'd rather be upfront about it than promise something we can't deliver.
Custom-printed packaging and non-stocked lines have longer lead times. Get in touch before you're down to your last 50 boxes.
- Stocked lines: Same-day dispatch, order before 4pm NZ business days
- Non-stocked / indent lines: Lead times vary — contact us for a quote
- Custom print: Typically 3-4 weeks from artwork approval — plan ahead
Buying in Bulk: What You Need to Know
Volume pricing kicks in automatically on most lines — the more you buy, the lower the unit cost.
We sell by the case. Most standard lines have a one-case minimum, which keeps things simple. If you're running through enough volume to warrant a pallet order or a standing monthly delivery, talk to us directly and we'll sort out pricing that makes sense for your operation.
Custom-printed packaging requires a minimum order quantity (MOQ) that varies by product type. Hot cups, boxes, and bags typically have higher MOQs than plain stock because of print setup costs. Ask before you commit.
Frequently asked
Can I order food packaging online and get it delivered fast?+
Yes. Stocked lines dispatch same day if you order before 4pm on NZ business days. Delivery timeframes after that depend on your location and courier.
Do you have a minimum order?+
We sell by the case. Most lines have a one-case minimum. There's no minimum dollar value on standard orders, but volume pricing means larger orders cost less per unit.
Can I get food packaging printed with my logo?+
Yes. Custom print is available on selected lines — cups, boxes, and bags are the most common. Lead time is typically 3-4 weeks from artwork approval. MOQs apply and vary by product. Contact us to get the ball rolling.
Is your packaging compostable or recyclable?+
Some of it is, some isn't — it depends on the product. Bagasse (sugarcane fibre) containers are certified compostable. Kraft and white paper products are generally compostable if unlined or with compostable lining. PET and PP plastics are recyclable where local facilities accept them. We'll tell you exactly what each product is made from so you can make the right call for your customers.
I'm looking for food packaging near me — do you deliver nationwide in NZ?+
Yes, we deliver to operators all over Aotearoa. We're a NZ-based wholesale distributor, not a local shop — which means you're not limited to whatever's on the shelf nearby. Order online, get it shipped to your door.
How do I get a bulk or trade price?+
Volume pricing is built into the product pages — it adjusts as you add more to your cart. For pallet orders, standing accounts, or custom print quotes, get in touch directly and we'll work something out.
