Fried Chicken Packaging Wellington

Boxes and buckets that keep your chicken crispy from the fryer to the door — not a soggy mess on arrival.

Wellington's a compact city. Your customers are close, but delivery still kills crispy if your packaging can't handle the steam. We stock ventilated fried chicken boxes and buckets in kraft, printed card, and bagasse — snack box through to family bucket.

We currently supply 2 Wellington operators. Small number, but every carton ships on a real order, not a promise. If you're in Te Aro, Newtown, or out in the Hutt, we dispatch on stocked lines by 4pm on NZ business days.

What We Stock

Four core formats cover most menus:

  • Snack box — for wings, tenders, or a solo piece. Compact, ventilated, fits neatly in a paper bag.
  • 2-piece box — the everyday workhorse. Keeps two pieces together without rattling around.
  • 6-piece box — for a solid feed. Vented lid, grease-resistant board, stackable.
  • Family bucket — when the whole crew orders. Sturdy enough to stack in a delivery bag without collapsing.

Materials run across kraft (honest, recyclable), printed card (if your brand needs to show up on the box), and bagasse (sugarcane fibre, compostable where your council accepts it).

Why Ventilation Matters for Fried Chicken

Steam is the enemy. Trap it and you've got soft skin before the customer even opens the box. Every box we stock has ventilation built into the lid or the sidewall — not as a feature to brag about, just because it's the only way a fried chicken box should work.

Grease-resistant board stops the bottom going transparent halfway through a delivery run. The boxes stack flat on your shelf and hold their shape when they're loaded up.

Print-Ready Options

If you want your logo on the box, the printed card range is where to start. Talk to us about minimum quantities and lead times before you commit — custom print isn't a next-day thing. Plain kraft and plain white card ship fast on stocked lines. Branded boxes take longer and we'll be straight with you about the timeline.

Ordering and Delivery in Wellington

Order by 4pm on a NZ business day and stocked lines go out the same day. We're not going to promise exact delivery windows — courier times vary across Wellington and the wider region. What we can say is the order moves the same day you place it.

Minimum orders and carton quantities are listed on each product page. Buy by the carton, not by the box.

Frequently asked

What sizes of fried chicken boxes do you stock?+

Snack box, 2-piece, 6-piece, and family bucket. Check individual product pages for exact dimensions and carton quantities.

Are the boxes ventilated?+

Yes. Ventilation is built into the design — lid vents or sidewall vents depending on the format. It's standard, not an add-on.

Can I get boxes printed with my logo?+

Yes, through the printed card range. Custom print has longer lead times than stocked plain stock. Contact us before you need them urgently.

Do you stock compostable options?+

Bagasse (sugarcane fibre) boxes are available in the range. Whether they're accepted in your local composting scheme depends on Wellington City Council's current guidelines — worth checking before you commit to the format.

How quickly can I get stock in Wellington?+

Order stocked lines by 4pm on a NZ business day and they dispatch the same day. Courier delivery times to Wellington vary — we can't guarantee a specific arrival window.

Do I need to buy a full carton?+

Yes. We sell by the carton. Quantities per carton are listed on each product page.
