Coffee Cups for Wellington Cafes

Wellington runs on coffee, and your cup needs to hold up through a flat white, a long black, and whatever someone orders after that.

Single-wall, double-wall, sleeves, lids. We stock the lot, in sizes from 4oz up to 16oz, ready to go from our warehouse on stocked lines when you order before 4pm on a business day.

We're already supplying two Wellington operators. Small number, honest one. If you want cups that don't buckle, don't leak, and don't make your customer swear, read on.

The Cups We Stock

Here's what's in the catalogue right now.

  • RP1032 — Grey Single Wall Hot Cup, 400ml / 12oz, 1000 per carton
  • RP1056 — Tan Single Wall Hot Cup, 400ml / 12oz, 1000 per carton
  • RP1048 — Yellow Single Wall Hot Cup, 400ml / 12oz, 1000 per carton
  • RP1012-1 — Art Series Double Wall Hot Cup, 390ml / 12oz, 1000 per carton
  • RP1016-1 — Art Series Double Wall Hot Cup, 255ml / 8oz, 1000 per carton
  • RP1020 — Beleaf Double Wall Hot Cup, 495ml / 16oz, 500 per carton
  • F3022 — 12oz Hot Cup Sleeves, 1000 per carton
  • F3020 — 8oz Hot Cup Sleeves, 1000 per carton

Single-wall cups are your workhorse for quick service. Double-wall cups handle the heat without burning fingers, no sleeve required. The Beleaf 16oz is the one for your large lattes and jumbo hot chocolates.

Materials and Linings

Our cups come in paper with either a PLA lining or an aqueous lining. PLA is plant-based and compostable in the right facility. Aqueous coatings are a solid choice if your local composting infrastructure isn't set up for PLA.

The Beleaf range uses bagasse, which is the pulp left over from sugarcane processing. It's sturdy, it handles hot liquids, and it's a better story on the counter than a plain white cup.

All cups in this range are print-ready. If you want your logo on there, talk to us about minimum order quantities for custom print runs.

Wellington's Cafe Scene is Unforgiving

The capital has one of the highest cafe densities per capita in the world. That's not marketing fluff, it's just geography and a lot of opinionated coffee drinkers in a small city. Your regulars notice everything — including the cup.

A single-wall cup that goes soft halfway through a flat white is a problem. A sleeve that slides off at the wrong moment is a problem. Double-wall construction sorts both. For high-volume service where you're pouring back to back, the Art Series double-wall 12oz is the one to look at.

Ordering and Dispatch

Order before 4pm on a NZ business day and we dispatch the same day on all stocked lines. That includes every product listed on this page.

Carton quantities are listed above. We sell wholesale, so you're buying by the carton, not the sleeve of ten. If you're not sure which size moves fastest in your café, start with the 12oz — it covers the majority of hot drinks in most NZ cafes.

Frequently asked

What sizes do you stock for Wellington orders?+

We stock 8oz, 12oz, and 16oz hot cups on this page. Sleeves are available in 8oz and 12oz. If you need 4oz or 6oz cups, contact us to check availability.

Do I need sleeves if I use double-wall cups?+

No. Double-wall cups insulate well enough on their own. Sleeves are for single-wall cups where you need to protect your customer's hand from the heat.

Are these cups compostable?+

The PLA-lined cups are compostable in a commercial composting facility. The Beleaf range uses bagasse and is also compostable commercially. Check with your local Wellington waste contractor about what they accept.

Can I get my cafe's logo printed on the cups?+

Yes. All cups in this range are print-ready. Custom print orders have minimum quantity requirements. Contact us to discuss the details.

How quickly will my order arrive in Wellington?+

We dispatch same-day on stocked lines when you order before 4pm on a NZ business day. Delivery times to Wellington after dispatch depend on the courier, but we'll give you tracking.

What's the difference between PLA-lined and aqueous-lined cups?+

PLA is a plant-based lining and is compostable in commercial facilities. Aqueous lining is a water-based coating — it keeps the cup waterproof but may not be accepted by all composting programmes. If sustainability credentials matter to your customers, check what your local facility accepts first.
