Food Wrap Cling Film

Keep prep fresh, cuts clean, and your bench moving — cling film built for a commercial kitchen, not a household drawer.

Food wrap cling film is one of those things you run out of at the worst possible moment. We stock catering-grade rolls so you're not raiding the supermarket at 7am before service.

Used in sushi bars, deli counters, prep kitchens, and pretty much every hospo operation that wraps anything. Tight cling, easy tear, no drama.

Who Uses Cling Film and How

Sushi stores go through it fast — rice blocks, platter covers, prepped rolls waiting for the fridge. Deli and cafe operators use it for wrapping sandwiches, covering bowls, protecting cut fruit overnight.

Prep kitchens rely on it for covering trays between stages, wrapping portioned meat, and lining surfaces. If you have a cold section or a prep bench, you need cling film on hand.

  • Food trucks with cold prep

Catering Roll vs Retail Roll — What's the Difference

Retail cling film is made for light home use. It's narrow, the roll runs out quickly, and the cling tends to fail on colder surfaces. Fine for your mum's leftovers. Not fine for a busy prep bench.

Catering rolls are wider, longer, and the film itself is heavier gauge. They sit in a proper dispenser box with a serrated edge so you get a clean tear every time. One catering roll does the job of several supermarket ones.

If you're wrapping more than a handful of things per shift, the catering roll pays for itself in time alone.

Storage and Handling

Store rolls in a cool, dry spot away from direct sunlight. Heat makes the film tackier and harder to handle. Keep the box closed between uses so the leading edge doesn't stick to itself.

Dispenser boxes have a built-in cutter — use it. Trying to tear cling film freehand mid-service is a fast way to waste half a roll and your patience.

Ordering Cling Film in Bulk

We sell cling film by the carton. Buying a carton rather than single rolls cuts your cost per metre and means you're not placing an order every two weeks.

Order before 4pm on a business day and we dispatch same day on stocked lines. If you're running low, don't wait until you're on the last roll — place the order now.

Frequently asked

What width and length rolls do you stock?+

Check the product listings for current specifications on width and roll length. We stock catering-grade rolls suited to commercial dispensers.

Can I get same-day dispatch on cling film?+

Yes, on stocked lines. Place your order before 4pm on a NZ business day and we dispatch same day.

Do you sell single rolls or cartons only?+

We sell by the carton. It's a better price per metre and more practical for any operator going through volume.

Is the cling film food-safe for direct contact with food?+

Our cling film is catering grade and suitable for food contact use. Check the product page for specific compliance details.

Can I get custom printed cling film?+

Custom print on cling film isn't something we currently offer. For branded wrapping, take a look at our printed greaseproof and food wrap options.

How do I know when to reorder so I don't run out?+

A good rule: when you open your last roll in the carton, place the order. With same-day dispatch on stocked lines before 4pm, you'll have stock before you run dry.
