Aluminium Foil Containers
Oven to customer in one container — no transfers, no mess, no excuses.
Aluminium foil containers are the workhorse of the takeaway kitchen. Lasagne, roast chicken, butter chicken, fish pie — if it goes in an oven, it goes in one of these. We stock a solid range of sizes for NZ hospitality operators, from single-serve portions to full catering trays.
Buy by the carton, keep your costs down, and get orders out the door faster. Stock lines dispatch same day if your order is in before 4pm on a business day.
What we stock
Our aluminium foil containers come in a range of sizes to cover most kitchen needs. Small round containers suit single-serve curries and sides. Rectangular trays handle lasagne portions, roast meats, and catering quantities. Deep-dish options work for pies and dense bakes that need the extra headroom.
All containers are made from food-grade aluminium. They're oven-safe, freezer-ready, and stack flat so they don't eat your storage space. Matching cardboard lids are available for most sizes — we sell those separately.

Round vs rectangular: which one do you need?
Round containers are the default for Indian, Thai, and Middle Eastern takeaways. They portion well, seal cleanly with a dome lid, and customers recognise them instantly.
Rectangular trays are better for anything you're slicing to order — lasagne, moussaka, sliced roast meats. They also stack more efficiently in a delivery bag. If you're doing catering runs, rectangular is almost always the right call.
Deep-dish trays are worth it if your product is thick or has a lot of liquid. A shallow tray with butter chicken in it is a liability. Pay the small premium for depth if you need it.
Who uses these
Most of our aluminium foil container customers are running Indian, Thai, or Chinese takeaways. But they turn up everywhere: school canteens doing bulk lunches, catering companies packing event food, fish and chip shops doing large orders, and bakeries portioning savoury pastries.
If you're cooking in bulk and need a container that goes from oven to bag without complaint, this is it. No repackaging, no extra washing up.
Ordering and dispatch
We sell by the carton. Carton quantities vary by size — check individual product listings for case counts and unit pricing.
Stocked lines go out the same business day if your order is in before 4pm. That's a hard cut-off, not an estimate. If you're not sure whether a size is stocked, get in touch before you order and we'll tell you straight.
Need a larger volume or a size not showing in stock? Talk to us. We can sort bulk orders and let you know lead times without the runaround.
A note on lids
Aluminium containers don't come with lids included — lids are sold separately and vary by container size. Most operators use a flat or domed cardboard lid. Some use a foil crimp lid for a tighter seal on liquid-heavy dishes.
Check our lids category to match the right lid to your container. If you're not sure what fits what, the product listings call it out, or message us and we'll confirm before you order.
Frequently asked
What sizes of aluminium foil containers do you stock?+
We stock a range from single-serve round containers through to full catering trays. Check the individual product listings for exact dimensions and capacities — sizes are listed in millimetres and millilitres so you know exactly what you're getting.
Do the containers come with lids?+
No. Lids are sold separately. We stock matching cardboard lids for most of our container sizes. Check the lids category or the individual product page to confirm compatibility before ordering.
Can I get same-day dispatch?+
Yes, on stocked lines. Orders need to be in before 4pm on a NZ business day. If you're not sure whether your size is in stock, contact us before placing the order and we'll confirm.
Do you do bulk or wholesale pricing?+
Everything we sell is wholesale, priced by the carton. If you're moving serious volume, get in touch and we can talk about your requirements directly.
Are these containers oven-safe?+
Yes. Food-grade aluminium foil containers are oven-safe. They're also freezer-ready, which makes them useful for prep-ahead operations. Don't put them in a microwave — aluminium and microwaves don't mix.
Can I get custom printed lids or branded containers?+
Custom print is available on some lines with minimum order quantities. Lead times apply. Contact us with your specs and we'll tell you what's possible and how long it takes — no vague estimates.
