Smoothie Cups for Dunedin

Crystal clear cups that hold up through the commute from George Street to the Octagon.

We already supply 37 Dunedin operators. Cafes near campus, smoothie bars, bubble tea spots pulling long Saturday shifts. They all need cups that don't buckle under a thick mango smoothie at 8am.

We stock bio and recyclable cold cups in 8oz, 12oz, and 16oz. Dome lids for the big fluffy pours. Flat lids when you're moving fast. Sold by the carton of 1000.

The cups we stock

Every cup in this range is crystal clear, strong at the rim, and compatible with dome or flat lids. Here's what's on the shelf:

  • RF2300 — Bio Cold Cup 360ml, 1000/ctn
  • RF2301 — Bio Cold Cup 500ml, 1000/ctn
  • RP2000 — Recyclable Cold Cup 8oz (235ml), 1000/ctn
  • RP2004 — Recyclable Cold Cup 12oz (430ml), 1000/ctn
  • RP2006 — Recyclable Cold Cup 16oz (530ml), 1000/ctn
  • RF4293 — Bio Cold Domed Lid for 300–700ml clear cups, 1000/ctn

Bio cups are made from PLA. Recyclable cups are rPET or PP. Freezer-safe across the range.

Why it matters for Dunedin operators

Dunedin runs on students. That means high footfall in a tight area, short lunch breaks, and a crowd that actually reads what's printed on the packaging. A flimsy cup that sweats through a paper bag is a problem you don't need at midday on a Tuesday.

These cups are rigid enough to stack behind the counter without crushing, clear enough that the colour of the smoothie sells itself, and the dome lid gives you room for a proper layered pour without smashing it flat.

Ordering and dispatch

Orders placed before 4pm on NZ business days are dispatched same day on stocked lines. Cartons of 1000 mean less re-ordering, more counter space, fewer problems.

No minimum order nonsense. No account hoops to jump through. Pick what you need, check out, get on with your day.

Materials at a glance

PLA (bio cups) — plant-based, compostable in the right facility. Good choice if your customers care and your area has industrial composting.

rPET and PP (recyclable cups) — made with recycled content, kerbside recyclable in most NZ councils. Dunedin City Council accepts rPET in the yellow bin. Check current DCC guidelines to confirm before you make claims on your menu board.

Frequently asked

What sizes do you stock for smoothie cups?+

We stock 8oz (235ml), 12oz (430ml), and 16oz (530ml) recyclable cold cups, plus bio cold cups in 360ml and 500ml. All sold in cartons of 1000.

Do the lids fit all your cold cups?+

The RF4293 domed lid fits our 300–700ml clear cups. If you're mixing cup SKUs, check the size range before ordering. Email us if you're unsure — we'll confirm compatibility before it ships.

How fast can I get cups to Dunedin?+

We dispatch same day on stocked lines if your order is in before 4pm on a NZ business day. Freight to Dunedin from our warehouse typically takes 1–2 business days, but that's the courier's timeline, not ours.

Are these cups compostable?+

The PLA bio cups (RF2300, RF2301) are commercially compostable. They need industrial composting conditions — they won't break down in your home bin or landfill at any useful rate. The rPET/PP recyclable cups are not compostable but are accepted in most NZ recycling streams.

Can I get custom printed cups for my cafe?+

Custom print is available on larger runs. It's not an instant add-to-cart option — get in touch with us directly and we'll talk through minimum quantities and lead times.

Do these cups work for bubble tea as well as smoothies?+

Yes. The 500ml and 16oz cups handle standard bubble tea volumes fine, and the dome lid works with fat straws. Just make sure you're ordering the right straw diameter for your pearls.
