Fish and Chip Packaging in Christchurch
Keeps the heat in and the grease where it belongs — not soaking through your bag.
We supply fish and chip packaging to operators across Christchurch and Canterbury. Scoops, dinner trays, and family boxes in kraft, white card, and greaseproof-lined board. Built for battered fish, hot chips, and everything in between.
Nine Christchurch businesses already order through us. Stock lines go out same day if you're in before the 4pm cut-off.
What We Stock
Four formats cover most fish and chip shops:
- Small scoop — snack serves and kids' portions
- Large scoop — the standard serve most shops run
- Dinner tray — fish, chips, and a couple of sides without things sliding around
- Family box — Friday night feeds, sealed flat for the car trip home
Materials are kraft, white card, and greaseproof-lined board. All formats are stackable so they don't wreck your dry storage.
Grease-Resistant and Heat-Retaining
Greaseproof-lined board stops the oil getting through to the customer's hands. That matters at 6pm on a Friday when you're handing out twenty orders in a row.
The board also holds heat long enough for the drive home. Not magic, just decent material spec — which is what you actually need.
Print-Ready if You Want It
White card and kraft formats are both print-ready. If you want your logo on the box, talk to us about custom print runs. We'll tell you straight what the minimums are and what it costs.
Plain stock is available off the shelf with no minimums beyond a standard carton quantity.
Ordering for Christchurch
Order online before 4pm on any NZ business day and stocked lines go out the same day. Christchurch operators are already on the books — the process is straightforward.
If you're running a suburban takeaway, a CBD spot, or a food truck working the Canterbury event circuit, the same stock applies. We don't do separate pricing by city.
Frequently asked
What sizes of fish and chip packaging do you stock?+
Small scoop, large scoop, dinner tray, and family box. Those four formats cover the range from snack serves through to a feed for four.
What materials are the trays and boxes made from?+
Kraft, white card, and greaseproof-lined board. The greaseproof lining is the important one for hot chips — it stops oil soaking through.
Can I get my logo printed on the packaging?+
Yes. White card and kraft formats are print-ready. Get in touch to discuss custom print runs — we'll give you straight numbers on minimums and lead times.
How fast can I get stock in Christchurch?+
Order before 4pm on a NZ business day and stocked lines dispatch that day. Delivery times to Christchurch depend on the courier, but we get it out the door same day.
Is the packaging suitable for greasy battered fish as well as chips?+
Yes. The greaseproof-lined board handles both. It's designed for high-oil, high-heat food — battered fish, hot chips, fritters, the lot.
Do you have sustainable or eco options in this range?+
Kraft board is the lower-impact option in the range. Talk to us if sustainability specs matter for your shop — we'll tell you what we actually stock rather than what sounds good.
